What Beyond Plastic Looks Like…

That last post was rather sobering, so I thought a little inspiration should be added.

I was sent this video yesterday about an organization doing something truly wonderful with plastic. It made me happy.

I went to their website http://isanglitrongliwanag.org/ which has other videos to watch…

The bottle is filled with water, so the sunlight is refracted. It creates a light that is 55-60 watts. And it costs next to nothing. I like that price.  The money not spent on lighting can be used to purchase food…

“Sustainable energy practices.”

Sustainable is one of my favorite words…

“We have an abundance of sunlight, we have an abundance of people that want to do good, we have an abundance of junk…”

I love sunlight, and people doing good, and junk…

“Inspire and light the world.”

Seems like a pretty good way to think, wouldn’t you say?  Let’s change the world.

Responsibility is not convenient — it’s necessary.

Rethink. Refuse. Reduce. Reuse.

Thanks for reading!
