A dialog on plastic

The key to a good conversation is to create a dialog.  It does no one any good if the conversation is only one way.  That just creates boredom.  Monotony.  Resentment.  Tension.  Complacency.

You see where that road can lead?

What the hell does that have to do with plastic, you may ask?

When I consider how things are produced, and consumed, and disposed of, I ask myself a question: who is getting my money?  We live in a capitalistic system — so who, exactly, is getting my money?

Plastic has made everything cheap.

Even our planet.

It’s the only one we have at the moment, you know.

I would like you to think about, or don’t — by all means, it’s your choice — the complete cycle of the crap you use to exist on this planet.  What is really necessary?  What can be replaced?

Don’t forget Rule #2.

I am creating dialog.

I would like you to join it.  And I am glad you have.

I used the word “Responsible” in the title of this blog so that I would be reminded of the fact that I am.

Rethink.  Refuse.  Reduce.  Reuse.
